Spring is here, and with it comes the lovely ingredients that the warmer weather can bring.
We love the start of spring as it heralds the arrival of new season young tender asparagus. These little spears are so good you can eat them raw with your favourite dip or garlicky aioli. Asparagus and mushrooms go beautifully together in a classic French vinaigrette with some fresh snipped herbs.
At Truly Scrumptious we always start our spring specials with a Risotto Primavera featuring, of course, asparagus with one or two fresh ingredients of the season topped with fresh shaved parmesan. Bellisimo!
